The last month of the year 2018. Our theme was Christmas and the children had lots of fun enacting the Christmas story and making Christmas Decorations.
The children enjoyed making stars with icecream sticks.
Through the month, an emphasis was made in understanding the real meaning of Christmas – giving and thinking about others. Inspired by a presentation, the children were given bags to collect gifts for poorer children. At the end of the month, they visited an Anganwadi where they acted out the Christmas skit and gave them the gifts they had collected. It was a very enriching experience.
The month was hectic with practice on full swing for the annual day!
