We’ve had a very unusual month at school. With the heavy rain and then the flood, we’ve had very few working days. But we are very grateful that all our children and their families are safe!

Our theme for the month was colours and the children learnt about the different colours of the rainbow and what happens when you mix colours. They did a few experiments with colours and enjoyed singing different songs about colours.

Independence Day was celebrated in style with a naval officer hoisting the flag. The children came dressed in traditional clothes and did a craft based on the Indian flag.

The fancy dress competition was also very colourful and many parents took a lot of trouble to dress up their children. It was a great opportunity for the children to come up on stage and learn to speak on the mike.
