February was a fast paced month at Kids Joy School. Although academics moved at an exponential pace, the children still had time for games and crafts, songs and stories!
The theme was ‘The world’, and the children learnt about the different continents and a few countries in some of them.
They made African coir coasters, Penguins in Antarctica and filled in the different continents with various textured elements like sand and cotton.
The visit to the naval yard was a highlight. Due to the confidential nature of the place, we were not able to put up pictures. But the children had a great experience seeing the different aircrafts.
Threading beads was a game they all enjoyed.
The presentations were outstanding and many parents took great trouble to make the presentations as interesting as they could for the children. Show and tell also was interesting, with children bringing objects from different countries.
